Quality management, work processes and occupational health and safety measures were certified this year in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety for the two German Fendt sites in Hohenmölsen and Wolfenbüttel. This involves the introduction of the same standards and methods across the various production sites, as well as an annual audit by TÜV SÜD.
Quality management at Fendt's main plant in Marktoberdorf has complied with ISO 9001 since 1995, followed two years later by the European competence center for cabins in Asbach-Bäumenheim. Continuous improvements to work processes and quality standards are an ongoing process.

"We have been working with TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH for many years. TÜV certification enables us to create a uniform system for quality management and occupational safety across all German sites," says Michael Nothhaas, Head of Central Quality Fendt. "A basic prerequisite for successful further development of the standards here is intensive cooperation between the specialist colleagues at the various sites. The implementation of the measures must fit the different products and the size of the individual plant."
"Quality is when the customer comes back, not the product" Dr. Oliver Cerza, Head of Region South East Sales, Operations & Customer Service TÜV SÜD Management Service quotes Hermann Tietz. "Fendt lives this slogan with all its employees every day," continues Dr. Oliver Cerza.
Fendt locations in Hohenmölsen and Wolfenbüttel
The AGCO/Fendt site in Hohenmölsen combines two plants: on the one hand, agricultural machinery is assembled here, such as the Fendt Katana forage harvester, the Fendt Rogator 300 trailed field sprayer and the Fendt Rogator 600 self-propelled sprayer. On the other hand, the Hohenmölsen site is an internal supplier for Fendt tractors, as numerous components for the tractor are produced here.
The Wolfenbüttel production site has been part of AGCO/Fendt since 2017. The Fendt Rotana round balers manufactured here go all over the world - as far as New Zealand.

"I am very pleased about the certification for our production sites in Hohenmölsen and Wolfenbüttel. As a full-line manufacturer, it is important to continuously check and develop quality management as well as production and occupational safety measures at all plants. An external audit helps us to continuously develop our own processes and methods in order to meet the needs of our customers even better," says Christoph Gröblinghoff, Chairman of the AGCO/Fendt Management Board.
