At a population of around 8.4 million and an area of 8,019 square miles (equivalent to 1.5 times the area of Northern Ireland), Israel is a relatively small country. Agriculture, however, plays a major role. In Agro Tamir Tabor LTD, Fendt has found a great experienced dealer for its Israel business.

Agro Tamir Tabor LTD was founded in 1999 and specialises in selling farm machinery. Since 2017 the company has been the official importer for Fendt products in Israel.

Its head office is located in the city of Kfar Tabor in the north of the country, delivering most services for the company’s customers.
A number of other service points enable the new Fendt distributor to offer 24/7 service through specially trained staff to provide the local farmers with highly responsive expert assistance. As an experienced AGCO partner, Agro Tamir Tabor has been successfully supporting its equipment sales, servicing and repair customers for many years.

Agriculture in Israel is a highly professional business with a clear focus placed on efficiency, sustainability and economy. “Considering the difficult local conditions like the limited availability of land, long drought periods or the limited fresh-water supply, Israel’s agriculture is the perfect terrain for Fendt,” says Wolfgang Möhrer, Fendt Brand Business Manager, to explain the reasons for onboarding their new Fendt distributor. “Our products are characterised by high levels of productivity, reliability and resource efficiency, offering our customers in Israel the best possible conditions for profitable, sustainable agriculture,” adds Wolfgang.

Overall tractor sales in Israel amount to around 500 units per year. Fendt will sell all of its tractor ranges - the Fendt 200 Vario specialty tractor series for orchard and plantation work, the mid-power ranges for family-run farms and our Fendt high-power tractors aimed at contractors and large agricultural enterprises.

“Any professional farm in Israel requiring maximum performance from excellent machinery may now turn to Fendt. In addition, all our machines are fitted with GPS and sophisticated application technology such as section control or variable rate control systems,” says Gidi Redner, CEO at Agro Tamir Tabor LTD to explain why he chose to sell Fendt products in Israel. Success has proven him right. The first tractors and square balers have been sold and will be delivered to their new owners before the summer arrives.
