The Fendt 800 Vario with a CORE80 engine operates smoothly within its main working range of 1,100 to 1,400 rpm. It reaches its top speed of 60 km/h at only 1,450 rpm. The top-of-the-range Fendt 832 Vario offers maximum torque of 1,680 Nm from as low as 1,200 rpm, ensuring high traction and acceleration with minimal fuel consumption. In addition, exhaust gas aftertreatment is carried out via a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), a diesel particulate filter (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR), but not exhaust gas recirculation. This also makes maintenance easier. The tractor complies with all globally required emission standards. In the EU, this is the Stage V (Tier 5 Final) emission standard.
Engines from the CORE family are also installed in the Fendt 700 Vario Gen7.1, Fendt 600 and Fendt 500 Vario series.

The fifth generation of the Fendt 800 Vario has undergone a complete redesign. With its 6-cylinder AGCO Power CORE80 engine with an 8-litre displacement, the tractor delivers up to 343 hp while saving fuel. The combination of the CORE80 engine, Fendt VarioDrive drivetrain and Fendt iD low-speed concept ensures exceptional efficiency. The engine is also approved for use with HVO100, making the tractor more sustainable.
